whats wrong with this sentence? Amy and her friends filled John’s room with balloons they put Oreo cookies all over both sides of the door. i believe its a run on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Missing proper punctuation thus making it a run-on.

OpenStudy (jademc01):

There needs to be a period after balloons, and "they" needs to be capitalized: Amy and her friends filled John's room with balloons. They put Oreo cookies all over both sides of the door.
