-2(3a-b)=c so what your trying to do is to get b by itself -2*3a=-6a -2*b= -2b 6a-(-2b)=c divide on both sides by 6 6a/6 minus -2b/6= c/6 6a divided by six crosses out 6 so its now just a a- (-2b/6)=c/6 +a +a adding a on both sides to negatives make a positive 2b/6=c/6+a/6 times 6 on both sides (fraction) 6/1*2b/6=2b other side 6/1*c+a/6 6c+6a 2b=6c+6a 2b/2 6c+6a/2 b=6c+6a/2
