What is an equation in which 10 is a divisor?

OpenStudy (freckles):

I'm not really sure what you mean

OpenStudy (freckles):

10 is a divisor of n if 10k=n where k is an integer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would I explain that to a 4th grader? lol

OpenStudy (freckles):

I know how you would explain how an equation can have a divisor.

OpenStudy (freckles):

Now if you want to explain what I said You might say something like any number number than can be divided by 10 with no remainder THAT that number has 10 as a divisor... Or you might want to talk about the positive multiples of 10 first... 1(10)=10 2(10)=20 3(10)=30 4(10)=40 .... 314(10)=3140 All of these products are divisible by 10
