John and his little brother, Michael, are helping their new neighbor unload a moving van. John can carry 4 boxes in per trip, and Michael can carry only 2 boxes per trip. Both boys carry the same number of boxes, but John makes 2 fewer trips than Michael does. How many trips does each boy make? How many boxes does each boy carry? Show your work
Michael made one trip and John made two because Michael can only carry 2 boxes and if both boys carried the same amount of boxes then they're both carrying two boxes for each trip.
That's what I think :)
Sorry I meant to put Michael made 2 and John made one
evaluate please? ((this is a really hard topic for me.))
Is there multiple choice?
Wait nvm
sadly, no. DX
What do you mean by evaluate?
like, give a bit more info,
hmm.. okay. One moment
Okay this is what I got: If Michael can only carry 2 boxes, then both boys carried 2 each. If they both carried 2 boxes each, then Michael made 1 trip and John made 2.
That's all I can really gather :/
okay...good enough for me XD
