OpenStudy (anonymous):

What will happen if a single conductor is rotated within a stationary field? What will be induced by this movement?

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

It depends on the shape of the conductor (e.g. loop or line) and the type of stationary field (e.g. magnetic or electric)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is a single line conductor, nothing will happen if it's rotating in a stationary position. Current only becomes induced when the conductor moves through magnetic lines of flux. Henceforth, a rotating loop will generate current as it cuts through this field. see http://r_tai.tripod.com/m1t.gif
