I need help will fan and medal. What set of reflections would carry rhombus ABCD onto itself? a. y-axis, x-axis, y-axis b. x-axis, y-axis, y-axis c. y=x, x-axis, y=x, y-axis d. x-axis, y=x, x-axis, y=x
@PaulaLovesSchool13
when a points reflects along a line it means as if the line is a mirror and we have to find where the reflection of the point will be. So lets say X axis is the mirror and C(2,4) is a point. Now where will be the image of C be formed when I place a mirror on the X-axis
Im confused
XD Let me call some mathletes. They explain better @iGreen @ganeshie8
k
Yay the awesome mathlete is here
?
Ur...could you help please>?
i need an answer plzzzz
The answer looks like it's C, y=x, x-axis, y=x, y-axis because everything seems to cancel out. But let's make sure. Take any point on the figure: (1, 2) Reflect across y = x(y, x): (2, 1) Reflect across x-axis(x, -y): (2, -1) Reflect across y = x(y, x): (-1, 2) Reflect across y-axis(-x, y): (1, 2) Yep, so C is the answer because (1, 2) = (1, 2)
