Since velocity and displacement are both vectors, what is necessary to fully describe them.?
@kl0723
Direction only Magnitude only the shape of movement magnitude and direction
Magnitude and Direction, on the other hand Scalars only describe Magnitude ;)
aha oks i have like 4 more s: i have been putting this assingment off aha because vectors
:P
HOw are scalers and vectors connected. Vector is the opposite of a scalar. No connection A vector is a scalor plus a direction a scalor is a vector plus a direction
I was thinking a or c because a vector is displacement and direction. When scalar is volume and such
they're not opposite :P
erg but if scalar is maginitude and vector is direction >.< The only thing i would think woud be C
C is correct but Vector is not only direction is a Magnitude that accounts for direction
What exactly is scalar then
difference between scalar and vector quantity :- 1) http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-vector-scalar-quantity-physics.html 2) http://www.differencebetween.net/science/difference-between-vector-quantity-and-scalar-quantity/
is just a magnitude :P
just go through them.. @DarkBlueChocobo
Thank for posting that that explained a lot
example of scalar quantity :- DISTANCE ,because distance does not have any direction,that's what exactly scalar quantity is. example of vector quantity :- DISPLACEMENT ,because displacement have its direction,depend upon PATH CHOSEN,and that's exactly vector quantity is.
