OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bro where are u seeing the 6-2 and 3-1?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

\[(6,3) \to (2,1)\]

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Oh wait you are supposed to divide not subtract...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Those are the point . And i have find the constant of dilation :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bro you want me to show the whole work sheet ?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Exactly so you divide to find it.. or you multiply..

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So your dilation would be multiplying by 1/3 or dividing by 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okey .. i will put it . If you know how to do the other problem please help me out =D .. you know my geometry teacher is suck loll .. i know i shoudn't say like this about her . but i have nothing to do :( i don't understand anything on her class :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So bro what are you trying to say by drawing this ? I am sorry i don't understand

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Any points that lie in that area are part of that quadrant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh okey :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So you multiply the points by -3 to (5-3) and you get (-15,9)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So now you graph it and see which quadrant it lies in.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okey :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

|dw:1413500905948:dw|

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So which quadrant is it in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So q 2 or 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 2
