SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU DO I'LL GIVE YOU A MEDAL AND FAN please help!!! What value of x makes the equation true? (–12.3) • (–6.9) • 9.5 = x • 9.5 • (–12.3) x =???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

damn u got me there idk |dw:1413501838709:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldn't it be \[x = -6.9\] ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

X=-6.9

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Thank you both so much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want x at one side and the rest at the other so (–12.3) • (–6.9) • 9.5 = x • 9.5 • (–12.3) devide both sides by 9.5, which gives (–12.3) • (–6.9) = x • (–12.3) then divide both sides by -12.3, which gives (–6.9) = x
