(Example or detail from the text) "it was the law…Any stowaway  discovered in an EDS shall be jettisoned immediately following discovery.”...Answers or conclusions..Being an actual law, it was legal to kill a stowaway because it would mean the death of both the stowaway and pilot and ship

How does the author want the reader to feel?...Example from the text... “an EDS pilot to prepare himself to walk across the room…take the life of a man he had yet to meet”..Conclusions...The author, I think, wants us to feel full of suspense, curious about the EDS  pilot going to kill.
