OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are infinite answers to this.. do you have choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-10x=-20 Divide by-10 on both sides, you ge x=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's not 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ALL OF YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Prabjotp12 deserves the credit :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :) *Shadow*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

WHAT HOW? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont see how you got 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone explain how they got the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

add the like terms, then divide on both sides, 2 negatives cancel out to make a positive so your answer is positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm o.O ok....

geerky42 (geerky42):

\[-20=-4x - 6x\]You can factor x out:\[-20=x(-4 - 6)\\~\\-20=x(-10)\]Divide both sides by -10:\[\dfrac{-20}{-10}=x\\~\\\boxed{x=2}\]
