This country was built by people who fought for the basic human rights we treasure today. Choose an issue in the news recently that reflects the commitment of Americans to human rights. How does this compare to the issues faced by the colonists in their conflict with England?

ok this happened a little while ago but i think it will do- in the title it says people face violation of housing, health care, ect. you could say something about how the human rights violations are very different to the ones the colonists who rights of freedom to move. Here's a link to a page with a list of most human rights (you dont have to watch the video just look at the list at the bottom) try to see if you find any rights that the victims of Katrina and the colonist have in common or differ
