How do I write the slope intercept form of 11x+y=6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so slope intercept form is: \[y=mx+b\] do you know how to change what you have into this form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, subtract 11x on both sides which gives you y=6-11x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup and that's it! But you might want to move the 6 to right so it looks the same so: \[y = -11x+6\]

Thanks
