The question is to solve the geometric sequence with the formula an=a1 x r^n-1
first term a1 = 12^(1-1) = 12^0 = 1 a2 = 12^(2-1) = 12 a3 = 12^(3-1) = 12^2 = 144 first 3 terms of the GS are 1,12,144 common ratio r = 12/1 = 12
