If organisms that reproduce asexually are exact copies of their parents, how do they evolve

Well, nature can be sloppy sometimes, so even in asexual reproduction, mutations can occur (when there are mistakes in reproducing the DNA). These mutations might be harmful, beneficial or of not much significance to the organism. However, it can lead to evolution :)
