HELP! Look at the chemical equations for cellular respiration and photosynthesis. How do these processes compare to one another in terms of matter and energy? Photosynthesis: 6CO2+6H2O+ Energy --> C6H12O6+6O2 Cellular Respiration: C6H12O6+602 --> 6H2O2 + Energy

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

Look, they're opposites!

OpenStudy (supernova_sonntag):

Matter and energy are neither created or destroyed, only transferred.

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

Basically, photosynthesis consumes the products of cellular respiration and produces what cellular respiration needs. Cellular respiration consumes the products of photosynthesis and produces, of course, what photosynthesis needs. It's so beautiful :')

thank you guys!! :)
