OpenStudy (dj3strella):

@Squirrels

OpenStudy (squirrels):

OK so a conditional statement is pretty much cause and effect. It's a statement with a hypothesis, then a conclusion. Do you know what I mean? (By the way this is the math section)

OpenStudy (squirrels):

If you don't know just say so, I won't be mad lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol squirrels is trying to help lol so just tell her if you don't know

OpenStudy (squirrels):

OpenStudy (dj3strella):

I dont understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I was distracted by my friend im so so sorry I was just typing and talking at the same time

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Ok so pretty much what a conditional statement is "If this happens, then this will happen." Cause and affect, aka a hypothesis and conclusion in a form of a sentence.

OpenStudy (dj3strella):

ok

OpenStudy (squirrels):

So do you understand?

OpenStudy (dj3strella):

i think is it C

OpenStudy (squirrels):

There ya goooooooooooo. lol good job

OpenStudy (perl):

a conditional statement is a compound statement , if p then q

OpenStudy (dj3strella):

thank u

OpenStudy (perl):

the answer is C, correct

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Yea what perl said. p=hypothesis and q=conclusion p->q

OpenStudy (perl):

@Squirrels a conditional statement does not have to be cause and effect , but i guess its not a bad way to remember.

OpenStudy (squirrels):

Yea, i know that. I should have been more clear, but in this case it was cause and effect. :p
