Clarissa is having lunch at a sandwich shop. She can choose white bread or pumpernickel bread. Her options for fillings are turkey, tuna, ham, or egg salad. Her choices for condiments are mayonnaise, salad dressing, or mustard. How many different sandwich choices does Clarissa have?

2*4*3=24. Let's look at white bread. We start out with 1 possible sandwich if there's only white bread. We add the option of fillings, it becomes 4 (white/turkey, white/ham, etc.). Then we have 3 choice of condiments. So each of the previous 4 listed sandwiches now have 3 more options, bringing us to a total for 12. Since pumpernickle bread has the same options for sandwich possibilities, we multiply this 12 by 2.
