Draw the graphs of f(x)= 1/3x + 2 and g(x)= 3x-6 on the same coordinate plane. Explain how your graph shows that the functions are inverses of each other.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

First start by drawing the graph of \(\sf \frac{1}{x}\), then shift it UP two units (this is f(x)). Now, look at g(x). What does that look like? \(\sf \color{red}{HINT}\): y = mx+b <--- equation of a _ _ _ _. Where m = slope, and b = y-coordinate, shifted up + or - "b" units.
