Line BC has an equation of a line y = 2x + 3, and line EF has an equation of a line y = −3x + 4. These two equations represent parallel lines because the slopes of the lines are the same perpendicular lines because the product of the slopes is −1 the same line lines that are neither parallel nor perpendicular
@waterineyes im guessing its D
cuz parallel lines have same slope... these dont perpendicular lines have slopes that are reciprocals...
Never guess dear... :) Otherwise teachers will guess your marks while checking.. :P
lol so i was right... ?
Okay, you know parallel lines have same slope??
yes
You know any condition for perpendicular lines?
Lets start by graphing C: What does it look like to you? http://prntscr.com/4xebkw
Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposites and reciprocals, and the product of the slopes is always –1.
-1 ??
@camerondoherty they arent parallel or perpendicular..
@waterineyes thats what my lesson says cx
And they aren't the same line either... So...
Just kidding, yes -1.. They are neither THIS nor THAT.... :P
@camerondoherty i was right :D its D yaya
Thank you!
Glad to Help C:
Happy Birthday Cam, she is Birthday Girl today.. :)
Thank You So Much C:
Many many happy returns of the day.. May God bless you with all the happiness you have taken birth for.. Enjoy the day.. :)
I will C: Thx c:
