Juan has c cheesecakes. Clarence has 5 less than 3 times as many cheesecakes as Juan has and Darlene has 2 more than half as many cheesecakes as Clarence has. Find an expression in terms of c for the total number of cheesecakes Juan, Clarence, and Darlene

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Clarence: 3c - 5 Juan and Darlene: (1/2(3c - 5)) + 2

Thanks, got the same individual expressions. Wasn't sure how to express as one? It said to "find an expression in terms of c", thought that meant just one expression, is that possible? Am I missing something and thanks for the quick reply too! =0)
