(Balls fetched) = .25(dose of steroid) + 50 So basically, plug fourteen in to calculate. So if he is on the seventh dose of steroid, there will be 1.75 + 50 balls fetched. I'm kinda stuck at this point due to you can't fetch a decimal of a ball. This is my best guess so far, though. Sorry! Hopefully it helps a bit!
This is not the point here, the question is asking me to just interpret and not solve. Like for example, that's what I got but I am not pretty sure it is right. My interpretation of the slope: For each doses of steroids Mike takes, the numbers of balls are expected to increase by .25 per hour.. I'm not sure if I interpreted this right
What do you think...
I don't think the .25 is per hour, due to only one hour is tested.
so x is what then?
i thought it was the dose of steroid
Oh ok...got it, the slope is the rate of change, that amount of change in y when x increases by 1, so what will slope increase by
sorry for taking long
Ok, great!
