GIVING MEDAL PLEASE HELP ME ON HOW TO FIGURE THIS OUT? Toby’s rectangular patio is 8 meters by 11 meters. Drew’s rectangular patio is 13 meters by 6 meters. Who's patio is bigger, and by how many square meters?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just multiply each dimension of each persons patio.

Then, find out the difference between those two numbers and whos was bigger

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, 8*11 and 13*6 then subtract both numbers to get the square meters or? Because, toby has 88 meters, and Drew has 78. When you subtract 88-78 you get 10.

I think, right..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea, so that means that toby's patio is bigger and there is a difference of 10.

Thankyou! <3
