Algebra: what do I do when I have this question 6x+5 = 125-6x because when I take the minus 6 over to the 6x do I take it away again to get 0 or add them together To get 12x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to switch +5 and -6x, but you have to change the marks to -5 and +6x. Then you have: 6x+6x=125-5 Can you continue?
