help with second differentiation please guys!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i got the first part, it's just the second part i don't get, the Be^mx part

random231 (random231):

question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just posted a pic there @random231 :)

random231 (random231):

okay were you able to find the derivatives of Axe^-3x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep :)

random231 (random231):

okay so now find the derivatives of be^mx and put them in the diff eqn..

random231 (random231):

if you take Be^mx common from that youll find a quadratinc equation... solve that and youll get the value of m.. :))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um i didn't get a quadratic equation i got 7MBe^mx + 9Be^mx .....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's when i subbed in my derivative and second derivative into the equation

random231 (random231):

uhh im gettin m^2Be^mx + 6Bme^mx+3be^mx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see where i went wrong, but where did you get +3be^mx?? is not not meant to be +9be^mx ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh it doesn't matter, o got the answer anyways, thank you random citizen!
