What should my short story be about? I have to write a short story that has to be where the main character faces a conflict by being forced to do something he/she doesn't want to do. It has to be 400-600. Can you just give me some ideas about what it should be about?

Well since your short story is going to be about the main character (Let's say his name is Bob) and is facing his conflict (and he is Joe) and Bob is being forced o do something that Bob doesn't want to do. Joe could be forcing him to rob a bank, kill someone, etc.
