Okay. So this shouldn't be too bad. How you calculate t(x) just varies upon what x is. So your job is to find x, or the number of miles travelled.
If you subtract the final mile marker from the initial, you'll get the value of X. Then you find out which equation works with the value of x, and then you plug in the value of x and solve.
