Do you understand?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do I multiply by 2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The expression that you will get after adding and subtracting the like terms. It will be i the form of a quadratic formula e.g ax^2+bx+c , then you will need to multiply by two like this 2(ax^2+bx+c)=2ax^2+2bx+2c.......... understand???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let my try it hold on... i got 3x^2 + 22x + 22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then multiply that by 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yea that's what I mean.... coz they said we should multiply g by 3 and multiply everything by 2 ....as in the question evaluate: (f+3g)(2).... That's correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks

you welcome
