How to covert the function f(x) = 3(x-1)^2 + 5 into standard form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tkhunny can you help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(3x-3)^2 + 5 9x^2-18x+9+5 9x^2-18x+14

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You can do (x - 1)^2 by knowing the square of the binomial formula, or by FOIL. Then multiply the result by 3. Then add 5 to it.
