@J-bird @phi

OpenStudy (phi):

any idea how you might try to solve this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it was 27ft by 27ft but i am counfused with this so i wanted to ask you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you do 27ft/800

OpenStudy (phi):

You have enough seed for 800 square feet if the field (square) is bigger than 800 square feet you don't have enough seed

OpenStudy (phi):

You have to look at the *area* of each square. area is side * side

OpenStudy (phi):

if you have a calculator you can find the area of the square for each choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is 27

@J-bird @amistre64 @damara1213

OpenStudy (phi):

27*27 = 729 and that is smaller than 800 But is it the *biggest* square we can do ? what is 28*28 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

784 = 28x28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is 29ft by 29ft beacause when you times 29x29 it equals 841 am i right

OpenStudy (phi):

and 784 is smaller than 800, so we have enough seed for 28*28

OpenStudy (phi):

you have enough seed for 800 square feet 29*29 is 841 so you will run out of seed

OpenStudy (phi):

the biggest choice can't be 29 (it is *too big* )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SO THE ANSWE IS 28 BY 28 :)

OpenStudy (phi):

yes
