OpenStudy (gorv):

first we need to convert aneesha 's speed in feet /sec

OpenStudy (gorv):

what we do to convert miles into feet??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I end up with 49.96.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Convert 3 feet per second into miles per hour and subtract from 50 mph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I converted 50 miles to ft per second. 50x5280/60=4400ft per sec. Then subtracted 3= 4397 ft per sec. Then x60 and lastly divide by 5280= 49.96
