will give fan and medal to the one that helps Graph the function s=√15d which relates the speed s of certain car in miles per hour to it's breaking distance d in feet. What is the breaking distance of the car if it is traveling at 53 miles per hour?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You will have to be more clear with the formula. What you have written is a linear relationship. \(s = \sqrt{15}d\). IF you mean \(s = \sqrt{15d}\), you will have to include some sort of grouping symbol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just need it graphed then for someone to tell how many feet per hour

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I understand that. It cannot be graphed until we know what we are graphing. Is the 'd' in the square root or isn't it? It is not clear the way you have written it.
