You and your friend have a weekly chess match that you usually win 55% of the time. During a span of two months, however, your friend is able to win 5 consecutive matches. You create a model and run a simulation based on it, using (0 - 54) as the times you win. 06 81 32 10 89 68 46 76 54 12 19 80 64 03 21 35 10 79 84 98 67 06 79 24 65 46 50 85 46 54 68 40 55 64 54 10 75 35 88 67 Based on your simulation, how many consecutive games should your friend likely win?
@myininaya can you help me please
i dont fully understand the question is the simulated time for 40 weeks?
i dont really know because that is all the question says
well if you just use sample given and count consecutive losses the most the friend wins is 4 in a row the straight odds of friend winning 5 in a row is (.45)^5 = .01845 little less than 2%
thank you how do you get the answer
