explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4^3 divided by 4^9 = .000244 You can solve A and D to figure out what they are they lay the numbers out side by side A: 1/16=.0625 B: 16,777,216 C: 4096 D: 1/4096=.000244 Hope this made it clearer :D

OpenStudy (aum):

\[\large \frac{4^3}{4^9} = 4^{3-9} = 4^{-6} = \frac{1}{4^6} = \frac{1}{4*4*4*4*4*4} = \frac{1}{4096} \]

^^ I'd trust Aum's way more then I'd trust my way!!
