Fun. A question without a calculator.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the derivative of arctan?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got this, but i followed an example from my book and im not sure if it is right

OpenStudy (freckles):

looks like you found the derivative of arccos

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ d }{ dx } \tan^{-1}x = \frac{ 1 }{ x^2+1 }\]

OpenStudy (freckles):

\[\frac{d}{dx}\arccos(x)=\frac{-1}{\sqrt{1-x^2}} \\ \frac{d}{dx}\arcsin(x)=\frac{1}{\sqrt{1-x^2}} \\ \frac{d}{dx}\arctan(x)=\frac{1}{1+x^2}\]

OpenStudy (freckles):

We only need that latter one or the one batman mentioned also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHH its

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you i understand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup now it's right
