when balancing reaction what would the answer be for Zn+HNO3

That isn't a complete reaction Something like 2H2 + O2 -> 2H2O is complete

well we have to find the other side for ourself and then we balance it that is all the worksheet gives us

That is weird. Every balance problem I've ever seen at least gave both sides. Anyway, google tells me that Zn + 2HNO3 = Zn(NO3) + NO2 + H2O
