For all you Java programmers- Here is the Woodrow challenge:

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

I will display some code- and if you enter the correct value in the JOptionPane.showInputDialog, it will read out some information from file "ark.txt". Otherwise, it will take the input, and display something else. If you want to take the challenge- figure out what the password you need to input to have the program read from ark.txt. Good luck! I recommend that any undertakers have some knowledge of JOptionPane class, IO - mainly output from a .txt file, a little about try-catch blocks.

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

Beware- this code is messy & cryptic.

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

Since this ordeal is in the spirit of furthering knowledge- I'll answer any questions

OpenStudy (lyrae):

Sloved it! I won't print the soultion here, but I can pm you if you don't believe me ;) Made one for you as well! http://ideone.com/QgS3Nk Find the decrypted message by entering a correct password in stdIn. Enjoy :)

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

challenge excepted! thanks for writing it up, but don't think it'll last too long :p as soon as I finish learning the StringBuilder class, I'll be giving it a shot.

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

Finished learning everything in StringBuilder, now time to learn bufferedreader

OpenStudy (woodrow73):

OpenStudy (lyrae):
