Write the standard equation form for ⊙ A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok, so what is the centre and what is the radius the standard form is \[(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2\] (h, k) is the centre and r is the radius of the circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I think i get it. It would be (x--1)^+(y--2)^=3^ right?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

yes... but simplify it to \[(x+1)^2 + (y + 2)^2 = 9\]
