Is having two conflicts too much? I'm writing a scene from a play, for a school assignment. I was going to have the major conflict be internal. This kid is trying to decide whether he wants to go to a party or stay home and do his homework. So that would be the main focus. But I was also going to have his friend trying to talk him into going. I figure it's fine because she'd just be influencing his decision, but I also feel like that's a whole different conflict. Do you think it'd be fine, or is two conflicts having too much going on?
