|dw:1413899245731:dw| how is the sum of x and y related to z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. The sum is twice z. b. The sum is one-half of z. c. The sum is three times z. d. The sum is one-third of z.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@!Call~Me~Addi!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it may be c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you get someone to confirm it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes hold on .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ravenwhite799 wouldnt it be c ? ^^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES THE SUM IS THREE TIMES Z BECAUSE U HAVE THREE VARIABLES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much !!

YOUR WELCOME

I JUST BECAME UR FAN

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks raven i was just making sure because i wasnt sure :P

OpenStudy (lyrae):

The question is how the sum of x and y is related to z. If you multiply both sides by 3 you get x+y+z=3z You'll then have to subtract z from both sides to make it a relation of x and y to z. x+y=2z

OpenStudy (lyrae):

So the answer would be a and not c.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Lyrae is correct :)
