can anyone help me solve this? 10 × [(92 - 3 × 6)2 + 13 × (37 - 21) ÷ 16] ÷ 5 - 3,774

OpenStudy (jordanloveangel):

i got - 3475.4 but im not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 * [(92 - 3 * 6)2 + 13 * (37 - 21) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [(92 - 18)2 + 13 * (16) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [(74)2 + 13 * (16) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [(74)2 + 13 * 1] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [148 + 13 ] / 5 - 3,774 610 / 5 - 3,774 122 - 3,774 = -3652

im so sorry i typed this wrong the 2 after the 9 is supposed to be an exponent and so is the 2 after the 6 and parenthesis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, hold on a moment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[10 * [(9^2 - 3 * 6)^{2} + 13 * (37 - 21) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 * [(9^2 - 3 * 6)^2 + 13 * (37 - 21) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [(81 - 18)^2 + 13 * (16) / 16] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [(63)^2 + 13 * 1] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [3969 + 13 ] / 5 - 3,774 10 * [3982 ] / 5 - 3,774 39820 / 5 - 3,774 7964 - 3774 = 4190
