The answer is:B. Will What is a helping verb? It is the word in the sentence used to help extend the meaning of the main verb. In this case, the word "avoid" is the main verb and the word "will" is before it, it "helps it." A quick list of helping verbs: Will Am As Was Are Were There are many more helping verbs out there, but the main concept is just that that help out the main verb.
