OpenStudy (anonymous):

*patpats your head What is it that you require aid with?

OpenStudy (winsteria):

This :( What is the estimated value of the expression if each number in the expression is rounded to the nearest whole unit? (4.18)(1.93)(8.72)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, you know how to round, yes? If so, just round each number up or down and then multiply them all together once you've rounded each one. c:

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Yeah I have an answer but I just don't know if it's right or not.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you double-checked?

OpenStudy (winsteria):

Idk I think it's 70 but ;-;

Nnesha (nnesha):

what you get when you round your number can you tell me all of 3 :) :)

OpenStudy (winsteria):

What?

OpenStudy (winsteria):

I just wanted to know if my answer was right or not...but I guess no one knows

Nnesha (nnesha):

you are close to the answer

Nnesha (nnesha):

that's why i want to know where you get that wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(4)(2)(9)=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whole number means the number in front of the decimal.

OpenStudy (winsteria):

;-; Idek

OpenStudy (anonymous):

come on doll type that into your calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what don't you understand?

OpenStudy (winsteria):

I got 72, but idk if I have to round it to 70 or just leave my final answer as 72?

Nnesha (nnesha):

ok so round nearest number if you have 4.18 for example if you have 5 after decimal 4. 5 then you can round your answer to nearest number its turn to be 5 but you have less than 5 that's why its still 4

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes its suppose to be 72

OpenStudy (winsteria):

okay thank you both very much

Nnesha (nnesha):

my pleasure hope you understand :)
