sorry, no time right now .. but 2x + 2y + 3z = -1, substituting in your (1, -3, 1) 2*(1) + 2*(-3) +3*(1) = -1 2 -6 +3 = -1 , true 4x + 4y + 3z = -5 4*(1) + 4*(-3) + 3*(1) = -5 4 -12 +3 = -5, true ,, 4x +2y + 2z =0 4*(1) +2*(-3) +2*(1) = 0 4 -6 +2 = 0, true so, yes, just can't go thru the proof just now you are correct
