OpenStudy (anonymous):

A car is being pulled by a tow truck. What is the car’s mass if the net force on the car is 3,000N and it has an acceleration of 2.0 m/s/s

OpenStudy (mstoldegon):

One Newton is the force that results from a 1 kg mass subjected to an acceleration of 1 meter per second squared (or 1 N =1 kg * 1 m/s^2). You can calculate the mass of the car by dividing the force by the acceleration ( mass = force in N / acceleration in m/s^2 ). ( m/s/s = m/s^2 )
