OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x=3? or 2x-3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry 2x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and if its not to much trouble can you do it step by step?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the help but im pretty sure its not right but again thanks for trying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is suppose to be 9x-4=2x+3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7x = 7, so x=1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 9x-4=2x+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so add 4 to both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9x=2x+3+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where does the 4 come from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtract 2x from both sides. 7x=7 divide by 7.
