Actually, I think A is the answer. The trick to this is that the we is the beginning of another subject/verb that has been cut off for the sake of eliminating redundancy. Although the McCoys have a huge garden, they never harvest more tomatoes than we harvest tomatoes. Another example that might make more sense: Cathy is smarter than her...... or......Cathy is smarter than she.... The answer is actually the second one because the way that it would read (not cut off) is Cathy is smarter than she is smart.
