which of the following includes only biotic factors? a.)ecosystem b.)habitat c.)biosphere d.)population

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

Well, do you know what biotic factors are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If a common plant in an ecosystem becomes diseased, the ecosystem may become unbalanced

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

Well, I am guessing you want to just know the answer. Biotic factors are living things within an environment. They include organisms of the same or different species. Now that you know what a biotic factor is, you have to define the options: An ecosystem is all living things functioning together with physical factors of their environment. A habitat is a place in an ecosystem where an organism normally lives. A biosphere includes all living things and the areas in which they live. And population is the unit of species living in the same geographical area. Remember that biotic factors are only living things so think which of the option has only living things.
