Well I know for a fact it's NOT C. Give me a moment to read the poem.
From what I read the poem does not indicate that people are usually helpful to others by the line "taking only things from life – thirty (I wish I were wrong)" AND "able to admire without envy – eighteen,". So it's not A or D. So the answer is B) present a balanced perspective of human qualities
