OpenStudy (gorv):

and each side =12 so plug in the value

OpenStudy (gorv):

what u got??

OpenStudy (noorik.):

Do you know the law of square's area? A = (length of segment)^2 You only need to plug in the values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

144

OpenStudy (vianne):

Squares are the easiest thing to do when finding out what the area is! You do 12 x 12 because you already know the square has all equal sides/angles/everything is same measurement. They already gave you how long it is.. Now you just do 12 x 12 = 144, congratz on getting the answer. :)
